Throttle valves, on the other hand, restrict the flow in both directions according to the setting of the throttle screw. Standard form are the throttle check valves "exhaust regulating". If these are screwed into a cylinder, for example, they enable smooth running without slip-stick effect. Throttle check valves are used in the special form "supply air regulating" for cylinders with a small volume (small diameter/small stroke).
