Note:
Lubrication at the cutting ring and at the union nut thread is essential for defect-free assembly of stainless steel cutting ring fittings. PASTE ES is highly suitable for this application. PASTE ES is a white paste on synthetic lubricant basis. It contains high-pressure- and high-temperature-resilient ceramics parts that permit easy separation even of metal parts subject to pressure under the most extreme of usage conditions (e.g., threads).
Advantages:
•Prevents corrosion and seizure,
•Resistance to acids, alkalis, chemicals, fresh water and seawater at temperatures from -20°C to max. +1400°C,
•Seals threads, flanges and housings,
•Easy loosening of connected parts (even after years), silicone-free
Tip:
For food industry applications, we recommend Loctite product 8014
Warning:
Not to be used for oxygen!
