Air curtain, 1800mm wide
Item number:
LVH 14/1800

Item description
Materials:
aluminium
Temperature range:
-40 to +260 °C
Media:
Filtered, unoiled compressed air
Air connection:
2x G 1/4” (< 600 mm length closed on one side with sealing plugs, from 1100 mm length additional air connections on the rear)
Function:
Air leaks over the entire length of the air curtain through a 0.05-mm thick slit almost at the speed of sound. In the process, the surrounding air is drawn along, generating an air curtain that consists of almost 25 times the initial volume of air applied. The noise level is up to 50 dBA less than in drilled pipes with the same delivery volume.
Suitable:
Air curtains are used where, with minimal compressed air consumption, large quantities of chippings, dirt, water or oil need to be removed, or where large areas of objects need to be cooled by an air jet.
Application examples:
•removing water from plastic film or metal,
•removing chips, cutting waste, or sanding dust,
•cleaning parts before painting,
•creating an air curtain to shield processes against each other,
•cooling and cleaning extruded parts, conveyor belts, and the parts on them,
•cooling and drying adhesives or colours in the printing industry
Information:
If requested we are happy to produce the air curtain in the length you requested.
Advantages:
•low air consumption - energy saving,
•low purchase and operating costs,
•maintenance free,
•no moving parts - no wearing,
•low sound level
