Description:
Self-aligning ball bearings are double row ball bearings with a hollow round outer ring. In this way it is possible to compensate for alignment errors. Self-aligning ball bearings are supplied "open" (default) or "closed and sealed" on both sides (2RS version). The 2RS version is filled at the factory with a quality grease. Open ball bearings must be lubricated externally. For the closed version, the relevant operating limits should be observed, e.g. at higher ambient temperatures.
