Foot valves are used in suction lines. They should prevent after switching off the pump that the contents of the line again run back opposite to the suction direction and ensures that the line is emptied. The foot valves consist of a check valve in combination with a strainer, that should prevent the suctioning of dirt. We supply foot valves with threaded connection made of brass, stainless steel and polypropylene. For Storz connections we supply a strainer, which can be equipped with an additional protective cage. Tip: By screwing the individual available strainers, you can easily convert an existing check valve into a foot valve.
