With the new function in our online-shop to create a sub-user, we offer you the possibility to structure your previous order process more. Create as many sub-users as you need for each employee or divided into departments and manage them yourself. Each employee gets his own access with his own password. However, they are still subject to your main account. In the following steps we will explain to you how you can use this new function in the Landefeld Online-Shop!
What are sub-users and what are the benefits?
So far, you had the possibility to create a simple customer account in our online-shop. All users, employees or departments are able to order with the same access data. In other words, there is one access with one password for everyone. This may lead to unnecessary confusion under certain cirmumstances.
A decisive advantage of our new feature is that you don’t have to release the main account for the respective substitute in case of illness or absence of an employee. In such cases you can now simply create a sub-user.
Additionally we offer two possibilities of sub-users. The first one may order without approval, the second one needs an approval for ordering. In this case the sub-user is able to create a shopping list. After saving it and informing an authorized user, the informed user can add the shopping list to the shopping cart and activate the order.
With this alternative we offer you an approval workflow. This gives you the control and also an overview of orders from your company.
How do I create and manage sub-users?
Nothing could be easier! We will show you step by step!
- Log in to your existing customer account in our online-shop
- Click on your user name and select the item „sub-user“
- Click on „new sub-user“
- Enter an username (this can also be an email address), surname and first name as well as a password for the sub-user and select whether the new sub-user gets order authorization or not. Save your entries!
Your new sub-user is created now. You can create or delete as many sub-users as you like at any time!
How do I log in as a sub-user?
- Go to www.landefeld.com, select the button „customers login“ and choose „login as sub-user“
- Log in with your customer number, your username and your password
Now you are logged in as a sub-user and can place orders or create shopping lists!
How do I create and save a shopping list?
- Choose the products you want and put them into the shopping cart
- When you have all the products you need, go to the shopping cart an select „save shopping list“
Your shopping list is saved now!
How do I load a shopping list after it has been saved?
- Click on your username and select on „my shopping lists“
- Select your saved shopping list
- Click on „load shopping list“
Your shopping list is loaded now and will be processed!
