Cylinder switch & Sensors

We supply cylinder switches as reed switches or fully electronic switches for almost all cylinder found on the market. The switches are activated by magnets integrated in the piston and can be used for detecting an end position of the cylinder. Very frequently cylinders are provided with a groove in which a cylinder switch can be directly inserted. Here the T-groove (Festo) or the C groove (SMC) is widely used. If the groove is closed on the side by attachment parts or cylinder heads, then a cylinder switch must be selected that can be set from above into the groove. For round cylinders the switch is fastened as a rule with a tension band, as here there is no groove available.
